MM Lee has famously said that if Singaporeans vote for the opposition, then they must be daft. His assumption is that anyone who votes for the opposition must be casting a protest vote and by that extension anyone who cast a protest vote must obviously be daft.

Our PM Lee is definitely a funny guy. Over the Chinese New Year weekend, his message to Singaporeans (working the longest hours in the world) was that our productivity is only 60-70% of what is possible.
Now its not that I don’t agree with the man, but I’d think his message would carry a little [...]
Eerily accurate results that I got from this Color Career Counselor. Of the suggested occupations, I have been a web designer, creative director, commercial artist, art teacher and incidentally also won a singapore packaging council award in 95.
And of course my fields of interest is indeed in art, drama and writing. And even the results [...]
This is why I don’t waste my time and money on trash masquerading as “credible journalism”. If I had one regret in life- is not ending my subscription sooner. ST is nothing more than a PAP newsletter.
